Their appetizers are homemade not a single of them is pre made frozen one from any Asian supermarket.... If you are fortunate enough like me, to have seen the behind the scene in the back, where the 70 years old mom is a head chef, the daughter in law, cousins are helping in the kitchen, and the son is serving in the front , its such a heart warming scene, come try their authentic southern Thai cuisine for once and you wont be regret it ”

“ Came here for Valentines Day dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. We only had vegetarian food such as the Pad Thai with Tofu and Drunken Noodles and spicy rice and they were all delicious. Also got the Thai iced tea which was not too sweet. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant is very clean including the bathrooms. They have a parking lot right in front of the restaurant with about 7 parking spots or so not sure if there is an additional parking lot in the rear. ”

“ I get takeout from Sweet Chili about once a year should be more often, and its always really good. Just got an order tonight of Tom Kha soup, crab rangoons, and spicy green curry with chicken. Everything was delicious with the right amount of spice ”

Its a little removed from the hustle and bustle area of West Hartford, theres a very small lot in front with just a few spaces but stille aside than parking right up in downtown. The Panang curry was just so good Ive been back twice for it. Usually isnt busy they do take reservations but it hasnt even necessary either time. Thai tea was also great. ”

“ Im not a Thai guy, but, I liked the restaurants name. To start i had the Sweet Chili Sampler A combination of chicken satay, spring rolls, bags of gold, and shumai, with soy sauce, duck sauce, and a peanut sauce. I loved them all, care taken for each sample. I then had pork Pad Thai, Homemade rice noodles with pork, tamarind sauce, egg, bean sprouts, chives, and ground peanuts. It came with a fresh dinner salad with a oeanut, maybe ginger, dressing. I asked for hot sauce and got three, I had the sweet chili sauce, it brought my meal to the next level! Loved it. Different than Chinese, lots of tasty fun!! ”
